Indications
    Nonoperative treatment of closed tibial shaft fractures. Postoperative treatment of open tibial shaft fractures. Protection of tibial defects. After removal of internal or external fixation. Post biopsy. Defects resulting from tumor growth. Adjunct to internal fixation such as unreamed intermedullary nails.
